Remember when we mentioned that we will be exhibiting our wedding cakes at KK wedding Fair from the 18th till 21st of August? Well, we've made it to the end and it was a big success! Thank you so much to Venus Maya (studio) for giving us this opportunity.

A Baby Bag!

A bag cake is one of the most interesting cake to make as it comes with various design. Today, we have made a 'baby bag' for our dearly friend's belated birthday who is expecting a baby soon. Here is the result of the 'baby bag' we've made for her :)

With a Yellow Teddy, a small milk bottle on the side and light purple baby napkin, this cake looks adorable and cute.

7 Baking Tips for Beginners

1. Read the recipe to make sure you have all the ingredients and ensure you have enough time.
2. Line your cake tins with baking parchment, this will help to remove the cake from the tin when it has been baked.
3. Always weigh the ingredients correctly.
4. Use the correct –sized tin specified in the recipe.
5. Oven temperatures can vary, so it’s worth using an oven thermometer – I could not bake accurately without mine!
6. Bring your eggs and butter to room temperature before baking.
7. Once you’ve put the cake in the oven, don’t open the door until at least three- quarters  of the baking time has passed.

Strawberry Jam Swiss roll

Swiss roll??

A Swiss roll is a type of sponge cake roll. The thin cake is made of eggs, flour and sugar and then baked in a very shallow rectangular baking tray. The cake is then removed from the pan and spread with jam or buttercream, rolled up and served in circular slices.

Here, in 1 BAKERY, we make our swiss roll different from the others. We uses the finest eggs and the finest flour. Not only we spread it with normal jam and buttercream, we use the best quality of jam and also depending on the flavors we use fresh cream as our filling.

Drink of the day

Today, our super excited customer is celebrating their friend's birthday. The birthday boy absolutely loves drinking and his favorite was Chivas Regal 25 years.

So, using chocolate flavor cake and fondant icing as requested by our customer, our talented baker was asked to make a 3D Chivas Regal cake! :D

How cool is that? Our baker is always up for fun & challenging design. And... this is the result.
